In October 2014 Copenhagen Designer outlets opened its doors, breathing life back into the City 2 shopping centre and adding 88 new outlet units set in 16,000sqm GLA. Danica, who own the centre, commissioned Haskoll to undertake a total evaluation of City 2 and the potential for transforming the empty Hypermarket space and consequently to lead the concept design alongside the local design team level. CDO has transformed the image of City 2 shopping centre and given it the momentum to develop in partnership. The new design opened in October 2014.
