Sanya Begonia Bay under Construction

Sanya Begonia Bay, Mangrove Tree Resort is another exciting project for Antaeus Group originally proposed in 2007. Locating at the centre of Begonia Bay in Sanya, the development covers an area of over 1.5 million sqm and encompasses a one 7-star hotel, 1,720-sqm conference hall, six themed restaurants, marina shopping street, seven outdoor pools, wedding hall and kid's playground. 

Haskoll were invited to join the project and provided conceptual as well as schematic design for retail and cultural units, especially marina shopping street. The design was inspired by marinas and seaside of Sanya. The streets create a simple but elegant and modern high-end retret that offers a unique visiting experience. The design work was completed in 2014 and the project is currently under construction and due to open in 2017.
