Shanghai Yuzhou Shopping Plaza Opening

Shanghai Yuzhou Shopping Plaza launched their grand opening on the 23rd of July, 2016. 

Shanghai Yuzhou Shopping Plza is located in the corner between Hunan and Dachuan Road, Pudong District. The plaza is a 140,000m2 mixed use centre and the first retail project that Yuzhou Properties have developed in Shanghai. The shopping mall is the main development function for this project. The area of the mall is 60,000m2 and it comprises a hypermarket, a cinema, restaurants, a gymnasium and various recreational facilities. 

Haskoll took full consideration of the situation of the original site as well as developer's objectives in the design. Spacious and horizontally spread out, with rows of shops, the mall creates a marvelous sense of anticipation for the shoppers. Taking a closer look inside, the highlight is the glass ceiling of the magnificent atrium. A continuum of glass sunroofs naturally light up the building, creating a warm, cozy ambiance for the mall. The opening of Shanghai Yuzhou Shopping Plaza welcomed thousands of visitors.
