Kaifeng Qingming River City

The Qingming River City project is located within the ancient city walls of Kaifeng, Henan. In our conceptual design and planning we were careful to preserve the historical and cultural heritage of this important site and to reflect the special urban environment with its narrow space. In using the architectural style of traditional Chinese courtyard-houses to design public spaces, townhouses and apartments the privacy of its future habitants is assured while providing possibility for maximum interaction. The finished masterplan received our clients approval and praise.
