Sponge: the Ultimate Weapon

Haskoll announced its ‘Sixth circulation model: Sponge’ at the 2013 ICSC Recon Asia in Beijing. Peter Goldsmith, Haskoll China Chairman put forward the analogy that the water held in the sponge represents life and experience; the areas designed for circulation are also places for experience and social interaction. Therefore, the blurring of the distinction between defined cellular spaces and more open areas are the ultimate weapon in the war of e-commence and brick and mortar.
