Haskoll Wins Guilin Wanda Project

Both Guilin Wanda Plaza and Harbin Wanda six-star hotel, designed by Haskoll, won through to the next stage of design recently. Both projects exhibit Haskoll's conviction to reflect the local culture. The design concept of six-star hotel was inspired by the flowing forms of wind-driven snow – common in Harbin, the capital of the northerly province of Heilongjiang. The Guilin project refers to 'clouds surrounding mountains and rivers', proud and celebrated features of the local landscape.
