Victoria Place Shopping Centre nominated for RLI(Retail & Leisure International) Shopping Centre Renovation 2015.Victoria Place shopping centre is about 6800㎡ which located in Victoria train station, one of the most busy transportation junction in London. UK network rail invested 7 million pounds to refurbish it. 

Haskoll were appointed to design proposals for the refurbishment of the shopping centre and food court with the aim of re-launching Victoria Place as a retail and food and beverage location attracting a greater proportion of the flow of visitors to the station and from surrounding areas. Haskoll’s proposals include improved presence onto the station concourse and for the street entrance, added value through new and reorganized leasable space at both levels, refreshment of all of the dated interior finishes, new shop front designs and centre rebranding through new graphics and signage. Haskoll took fully advantages of the great opportunities to utilize the high pedestrian flows available in stations - Victoria Station has around 120m visitors each year - but also need an understanding of the special challenges of working around an operating railway system. 

After the refurbishment, Victoria Place Shopping Centre has bigger open public space, new ambient lighting and comfortable shopping environment. It has became the first choice for those international retailers who wants to reach the UK market.
