Bingo Cinema Design Project

Haskoll hasenjoyed a 2 year partnership with Bingo cinema, a partnership which is expected to continue as the group makes further acquisitions throughout China. Last year we completed our first interior design project in Shanghai for the public area of a 22 screen cinema; set over two floors the design theme was based on the duality of Shanghai and cinema. Each floor was modeled on a futuristic and historical vision respectively. 

The brief for our two new sites in Beijing and Fochan also called for a careful consideration of local cultural and cinematic themes. In Beijing we have flipped the design of traditional Chinese architecture for a theme called ‘Floating Palace’ and in Foshan, a city famous for its Shiwan pottery, we have considered how the historic pottery figurines are reminiscent of modern day superheroes. 

The partnership between Haskoll and Bingo has been a great creative opportunity and a chance for us to work with one of the leaders and forward thinkers in modern cinematic entertainment.
