Begonia Bay Mangrove Resort Opening

Begonia Bay Mangrove Resort had its grand opening celebration on Christmas Eve, 24th, December, 2016. Dr. Zhen Yang, the Managing Director and Gareth Hardy, the Design Director of Haskoll China were invited to attend the ceremony. 

Begonia Bay Mangrove Resort is the fourth Mangrove Resort developed by Antaeus Group, one of the biggest partners of Haskoll. The project, which began in 2007, encompasses a one- 7-star hotel, 1,720-sqm conference hall, six different themed restaurants, marina shopping street, seven outdoor pools, wedding tower and kid’s playground.

Haskoll designed retail and leisure units including marina shopping street, wedding tower and seafood restaurants. The street offers a unique visiting experience with diverse high-end shops, café and restaurants. 

The wedding tower is one of focal points of the whole resort, not only a venue for weddings and other functions, but also an iconic art sculpture. During the opening ceremony, an exciting laser show was performed on the body of the tower.
