2012 ICSC Retail Real Estate World Summit

On 11th Sep 2012 the ICSC hosted the first of their quadrennial Retail Real Estate World Summits within China in the Shanghai International Convention Centre. It attracted unprecedented participation of international dignitaries and well-known brands from across the globe. Haskoll’s Managing Director Derek Barker (London), Chairman Peter Goldsmith and Managing Director Dr. Zhen Yang were invited to attend and had an incidental meeting with Apple’s co-founder Steve Wozniak. A casual talk took place and they also discussed the situation, potential and development of commercial real estate in China.
