Participation in major projects

Peter has more than 30 years of experience as an architect in commercial, mixed-use, retail and leisure projects in the UK and across the world. He has been with Haskoll since 1997 and worked in China to establish the Haskoll Beijing Beijing Office since 2004. He has been responsible for leading competitive winning teams working on urban design, architectural and master planning projects in UK, France, Norway, Switzerland, Germany, Belgium, Austra, Vietnam and Czech Republic as well as his work across China. His offices in Beijing and Shanghai have projects across the country in more than 40 cities including substantial projects in Zhengzhou, Hangzhou, Harbin, Chongqing, Tianjin, Sanya, Qingdao, Shanghai and Beijing for leading Chinese developers such as Evergrand, Wanda, Anteaus Group and Shimao. As Haskoll Global Design Principal, he is responsible for and ensures oversight of all of the design work produced by the Chinese offices.

In the UK he has been an established lecturer at Westminister University, London and also the UK Government Training College for Senior Fund Manager to all Government Departments. In China he has lectured on numerous occasions including at Tsinghua University, Beijing and Tongji University, Shanghai.

Peter is proud that the Haskoll business in China has won awards in recognition for its design services to China and for bringing the very best of its international expertise and creative thinking to influence the urbanisation and commercialisation of China’s built environment.
